Events for the 2019 Bristol Pride Festival start this weekend with the biggest ever festival and programme of events todate. As the organising team celebrate their 10th anniversary of making Pride happen they have pulled out all the stops to deliver two weeks of events to celebrate and showcase the LGBT+ communities, and moved Pride Day to The Downs making it one of the biggest festivals in Bristol this year.
SPICE Girl Melanie C will perform at this year’s Bristol Pride festival as part of a unique world-colliding live show with party makers Sink The Pink. This exciting collaboration will debut on a tour around some of the biggest Pride events and festivals in the world, including Bristol Pride on July 13.
Following last year’s record numbers attending Bristol Pride, organisers announce their expansion and development plans that will see the annual LGBT+ festival move to The Downs.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor, one of British music’s most distinctive vocalists, will be performing all her hits and a sprinkling of her favourite disco songs with a full orchestra at the Brighton Dome on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 7.30pm.
Headliners Fleur East, Katy B, Heather Small and Will Young will be joined by special guests Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Tulisa on the bill at Manchester Pride’s The Big Weekend on August bank holiday.
