Subline to hold Quiz Night for the James Ledward Memorial Fund
Bear-Patrol raise a total of £716.61 for the Rainbow Fund over the Pride weekend. The money was raised at the Bear-Patrol pre-Pride Quiz at the Camelford Arms on August 3 (special thanks to the Co-Op Funeral Care who donated the wonderful hamper prize) which was won by the Fantastic Foreskins;
Tonight’s weekly Quiz (July 20) at the Camelford Arms is being held in conjunction with the co op RESPECT LGBT network to raise funds for MindOut, the LGBT+ mental health service. The Quiz kicks off at 9pm but to guarantee a table you will need to be there early. Brighton Bear Weekender quiz at the Camelford Arm last night (Thursday, June 18), raises £341.37 for the Rainbow Fund. The total included a £25 donation from the Camelford Arms who also provided a complimentary buffet to keep the bears well fed all night.
Buck Whizz, were the winning team on the night, composed of David Ashman, Pier Breuwer and Allan Dover. They missed out on the regular £300 bonus cash prize but managed to win a box of 48 Curley Wurleys chocolate bars which they shared out with all the other teams.
