Professor Debra Humphris, University of Brighton Vice-Chancellor, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. Professor Humphris began her career as a student nurse in Chichester and later studied for a Diploma in Nursing and Certificate in Education before undertaking a Master’s degree.
The University of Brighton is working on a national campaign which aims to help eliminate HIV within a generation. In partnership with clinicians and researchers, the campaign’s goal will be to improve the nation’s knowledge and understanding of HIV, and by doing so reduce the stigma associated with the virus.
Professor Debra Humphris, the University of Brighton’s Vice-Chancellor, is to present a student prize – live on radio. Professor Humphris is due to be interviewed on RadioReverb, the non-profit organisation run by volunteers, during the Out in Brighton programme on Thursday next week (2 June) at 5pm.
