The People’s Film Club and Eyes Wide Open Cinema will present a screening of Paragraph 175 on June 1 to benefit LGBT+ people in Chechnya. Between 1933-1945 approximately 100,000 men were arrested for homosexuality in Nazi Germany, half of whom were imprisoned. An estimated 10,000 – 15,000 were sent to concentration camps, and by 1945 only 4,000 survived.
