Metropolitan Community Church Brighton (MCC Brighton), the church that takes its worship onto the Old Steine every Wednesday, will hold it’s Christmas eve service this year at the Clock Tower in the very heart of Brighton on Sunday, December 24 starting at 4pm.
Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) Brighton, once again challenged the pre-conceptions about churches by bringing together many different faiths for this year’s Trans Pride Interfaith Corner at Brunswick Gardens on Saturday, July 22.
MCC Brighton (the people who brought the giant Jesus to the Pride Parade in 2016) again change perceptions of what a church is. Pastor Andrew Ramage, says: “This year we decided to really step it up, so we volunteered to organise the ‘Faith Corner’ for TransPride in July and have already got some great people of different faiths lined up to answer questions about their faiths and provide blessings, aura readings and card readings.
With hot drinks, music and Christmas gifts, the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) Brighton shared its Christmas message with the homeless of Brighton & Hove on Christmas Eve at the Clock Tower. For over three hours approximately 40 homeless people joined in the fun. MCC gave out survival bags, clothing and other useful items. It was a time to chat, make friends and have fun during Christmas.
