Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus (BGMSC) appoint Joe Paxton as new Chorus Director to continue the sterling work achieved by the outgoing Musical Director, Marc Yarrow. Previously Assistant Musical Director with BrightonGMC, Joe is no stranger to the Chorus. He teaches music both privately and at undergraduate level at the University of Sussex, where he is working towards the completion of his PhD.
The most important appointment any chorus makes is that of the person who trains and conducts the singers.
After nine fantastic and successful years, Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus say farewell to Marc Yarrow. Marc’s tenure with the Chorus, first as Musical Director then Artistic Director, started in 2010.
