The world’s only annual academic conference in lesbian studies, held in Brighton last month at the end of LGBT History Month, has been hailed a huge success by the organisers and participants. The two-day, international, interdisciplinary event was hosted by the University of Brighton LGBT and Queer Life Research Hub in conjunction with the Women’s Studies Centre, University College Dublin.
