Barnardo’s LGBT+ foster carers and adopters have joined the charity in urging people to welcome a child into their life during LGBT+ Fostering & Adoption Week, which runs from March 4–10 with the theme ‘7 Days to Love’.

The UK’s leading children’s charity received the Third Sector Equality Award at the ceremony which celebrates the contributions of politicians, businesses, campaigners and community groups to improving LGBT+ life in the UK.
Children’s charity Barnardo’s has been shortlisted in the PinkNews Awards for its work improving equality for LGBT+ people. Barnardo’s is one of six organisations shortlisted in the Third Sector Equality Award by a panel including PinkNews staff, politicians and business and community leaders.
