I can’t think of a better way to have spent my birthday other than attending The Actually Gay Men’s Chorus Christmas Concert, It’s Actually Christmas at St Andrews Church, Hove on Saturday, December 22 alongside the Deputy Lieutenant Hugh Burnett, Cllr Dee Simpson Mayor of Brighton and Hove and a church packed to the seams eager to hear the Christmas concert – the Star on the top of the proverbial tree of concerts in 2018.
Subline raised £1,500 for Terrence Higgins Trust South at their annual Mr Subline contest. Six beefcakes battled it out for the Mr Subline crown on Saturday, November 24 at Subline club in St James Street at a fundraiser raising money for the Terrence Higgins Trust South (THT).
The marvellous fact about LGBT+ choirs in Brighton and Hove, is that they are all unique and bring special elements of their own to each of their concerts. Some are community based, some are theatrical, others are mixed sex, gospel based, pop influenced or just simply people coming together to enjoy the physical and emotional joy of singing.
