Make yourself At Home, says Terrence Higgins Trust
Peer Action the Brighton and Hove based HIV charity seek trustees and a new secretary. The charity aims is to make a difference to the lives of people living with HIV and those who care for them.
Peer Action, the HIV peer support and social group charity for people living with HIV in Brighton & Hove have appointed a new chair and announced they are re-launching the charity. New Chair Gareth Lloyd previously worked in the city. He brings with him business and legal experience and currently works locally for a national charity.
Peer Action, the Brighton charity for people affected by HIV, is seeking new volunteers and trustees to help grow the services it offers. Peer Action is a volunteer run organisation, run by people mostly affected by HIV for those affected by HIV. You don’t have to be HIV to help – everyone is welcome.
Lunch Positive, the HIV charity, provided the catering for the successful Hand in Hand choral event staged at Brighton Dome over the weekend of June 13-14. The event which brought together LGBT choirs from all over the UK and Ireland was jointly organised by Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus and the Rainbow Chorus, who commissioned the HIV charity to feed the singers from all the choirs during their stay in the city.
