Brighton & Hove City Council has announced it is taking part in Keep Brighton & Hove Tidy during Keep Britain Tidy’s annual event, the Great British Spring Clean, which takes place between March 25 and April 10 and is an opportunity to get our city spick-and-span.
Residents across the city roll up their sleeves, don their gloves and gear up for this year’s Great British Spring Clean. Volunteers from the council’s Tidy Up Team, members of Friends Groups and other organisations are teaming up with the council’s park rangers to take part in a month long programme of events.

Residents from across the city got stuck into a series of Great British Spring Clean events over the weekend. Despite unpredictable weather, residents turned out in force to help rid their neighbourhoods of unsightly litter. Working with support from Brighton & Hove City Council staff, and armed with litter pickers, dozens of volunteers got together to tackle litter hotspots across the city.
