At Lunch Positive we’re so pleased that the global theme of this year’s World AIDS Day is Let Communities Lead. It speaks to everything we are as a charity, and all of our ways of working. Our work is the much needed continuation of support by and for people living with HIV that started when HIV first hit our community four decades ago, and remains invaluable to this day.
“I’m proud to stand alongside so many others that do just that and as a result to make a difference to the lives of people in the HIV community that I value and belong to.”
Community-based HIV charity Lunch Positive is looking for trustees from all sections of the community, including though not exclusively people with HIV, to join its board.
During 2020, HIV lunch group Lunch Positive supported more people in more ways than ever before, and the successes of their unique Covid response appear in a new strategic report published by the Sussex Health & Care Partnership.

Brighton GEMS the social networking group for older gay men is to close down. For the last twenty years, Brighton Gems has provided a safe and friendly environment for gay men over fifty to meet and make friends.
