Gay conversion therapies which try to cure people’s sexuality are to be banned under the governments new LGBT+ Action Plan. This follows the biggest survey of its kind accessing the difficulties facing LGBT+ people living in the UK. It found among other things, that more than two-thirds of same-sex couples said they didn’t hold hands in public for fear of facing abuse.
