Following the success of his concert which closed the Arundel Festival last year, D’Arcy Trinkwon returns to play four concerts featuring the works of Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn and Liszt on the famous 1873 Hill organ in Arundel Cathedral during June and July.
D’Arcy Trinkwon plays the fifth organ recital in his Travel the World in Seven Concerts series at St Mary’s Church in Kemptown on February 27.
45 Minutes of Music @The Meeting House, University of Sussex, Brighton. The increasingly successful series of 45 Minutes of Music @ the Meeting House continues on February 28. There are four monthly concerts on the last Wednesday (except March) of each month till May. All start at 12 noon (March’s concert is on Wednesday 21).
The series is performed by the University Organist, D’Arcy Trinkwon – the internationally acclaimed concert organist regarded as one of the outstanding virtuoso musicians of his generation. D’Arcy is also organist of Worth Abbey. These fascinating, relaxed and informal concerts include interesting verbal introductions from D’Arcy who explains all about each piece of music. The concerts are aimed to be interesting and accessible to everyone.
