This weekend tens of thousands of people are taking to the city’s streets celebrating our LGBT communities, says Phelin MacCafferty, Convenor of the Green Party.
The public vigil marking International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) was moved indoors to the Dorset Gardens Methodist Church yesterday due to the pouring rain.
The Brighton & Hove Solidarity Vigil takes place this evening, Saturday, October 15 at 6.30pm. Organised by volunteers from the Brighton & Hove Community Safety Forum (LGBT CSF), it will take place near the Old Steine Fountain on the Old Steine starting at 6.30pm sharp, to mark the International Day of Hope and Remembrance.
