Take a walk in the dark for a brighter future

Brighton & Hove Council’s Healthwalks team is asking you dig out your torch or LED lantern, wrap up warm, and join them for the seventh annual Seafront Torch Walk on Saturday, March 28 at 8.30pm. The one mile walk along Brighton seafront, from the Bandstand to the Palace Pier, is in aid of World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF’s) Earth Hour, when the charity’s supporters around the world take action to raise awareness of climate change.

Putting Salt in the Pepperpot!

Residents in Queen’s Park and Hanover have been preparing for winter in their own unique way – by adding salt to the Pepperpot!
The Queen’s Park Local Action Team and their counterparts in Hanover have been working with Brighton and Hove City Council to provide equipment to spread salt, clear snow and provide safer routes to shops, surgeries and sheltered housing as part of their local community resilience plan.

Hove Neighbourhood Forum a first for the city
