Pop Rock band Busted will headline this year’s Bristol Pride Festival which takes place on the Bristol Amphitheatre and at Bristol’s Millennium Square on Saturday, July 8.
American pop icon Belinda Carlisle will headline a new Friday night concert on the Harbourside as part of this year’s Pride Festival. Taking place in the Bristol Amphitheatre on Friday, July 7, Belinda will be joined by Eurovision winner and Walking on Sunshine singer Katrina, of Katrina & The Waves, and electro pop duo Avec Sans.

One of the UK’s leading LGBT festivals boosted the North East economy by more than £9m in 2015. Newcastle Pride, one of the largest free events of its kind in the UK, attracted a record-breaking 71,000 people in 2015, with an estimated additional 480,000 listening live around the world on Pride Radio.
B*Witched and Belinda Carlisle were among the acts performing at a free event in the North East this weekend. The chart-topping girl-band and 80s songstress were both headliners at the eighth annual Newcastle Pride festival, at the city’s Town Moor from Friday to Sunday (July 17 to 20).
Newcastle Pride, now in its eighth year, will return to the city’s Town Moor for three days of live entertainment from Friday July 17. The event, which is also celebrating 45 years of world Pride, contributed around £7.9m to the economy in 2014, attracting a record 65,000 visitors. Organisers are expecting an even bigger turn out later this month.
One of the oldest organisations in the North East is showing its pride and will be backing one of the region’s largest events this summer. The Freemen of Newcastle upon Tyne, which can be traced back to Anglo-Saxon times, is supporting Newcastle Pride 2015.
Five of the North East’s leading housing providers are proving there’s no place like home by sponsoring one of the region’s largest events. Gentoo, South Tyneside Homes, Places for People, Gateshead Housing Company and Riverside are all backing Newcastle Pride 2015. The LGBT festival, which returns to the city’s Town Moor from Friday July 17, will be offering three days of live music and entertainment for all ages to celebrate 45 years of world Pride.
