The Kemptown Carnival 2019 is set to make a spectacular return on Saturday June 1 with the backing and partnership of Brighton Palace Pier and funding from Arts Council England. Oranisers of the much-loved community arts carnival are thrilled to have had their 2019 event license approved by Brighton and Hove City Council Licensing, Sussex Police and the council Events team.
Brighton’s Kemptown Carnival is set to return on June 1, 2019, in partnership with new sponsors, the Brighton Palace Pier. Attracting over 30,000 attendees at its last outing, Kemptown Carnival takes place across Kemptown Village, and is jammed packed with fun for every age featuring live music, samba parades and performances, street theatre, dance troupes, morris dancing, choirs, children’s activities, delicious food and drink from amazing local traders, fairground rides, arts and crafts stalls, and the Grand Custard Pie Fight!
