Graham Robson September 15, 2024

Brand new after-hours event AFTERSHOCK presents a fresh take on Sunday morning clubbing in the capital when it launches on Sunday, September 22 at Loki in Brixton. Clubbers are in for a kaleidoscope of upfront and current house and techno alongside some nostalgic classics from a dedicated new team of residents with regular special guests and headed up at the launch by after-hours darlings, The Sharp Boys.

AFTERSHOCK is also the official afterparty to the forthcoming Love Muscle XX birthday event at Electric Brixton with doors open from 5.30am on Sunday, September 22 at one of South London’s ace new venues.

Residents are headed up by The Sharp Boys with a hotly anticipated Classic Vauxhall Afterhours special peppered with memorable anthems from their long-term residencies across the Vauxhall clubbing scene. The Sharp Boys have enjoyed an impressive 30 year career across the DJ and music scene with highlights including their two-hour Saturday night Kiss FM radio show residency for six years; two essential Mixes on Radio 1 and headline sets at legendary after-hours club, Trade, Royal House at Heaven, Sundissential, Tidy Weekender as well as playing at numerous Pride events and BBC Radio 1 festivals.

The Sharp Boys

Introducing fledgling DJ Dante flying in direct from Dublin to make his London debut at AFTERSHOCK. Mixing up the tougher side of house and techno, this 22-year-old prodigy can’t wait to power up the dance floor of London’s queer after-hours scene. He’s also already modelled for the legendary pop artist, Mark Wardel.

Rising DJ Emmet is quickly racking up an enthusiastically strong following in a remarkable short space of time with regular sets in Clapham and Kings Cross. His infectious take on house is not to be missed!
