The Clare Project, the Sussex-based trans, non-binary and intersex support charity, is currently seeking an NHS Senior Public Involvement Officer and two TNBI (trans, non-binary, intersex and gender-variant) Group/Activity Workers.
Sessional Group/Activity Workers
Two sessional group/activity workers are sought to extend the charity’s support of TNBI community across Sussex. A sessional worker is a worker with a variable number of hours per month, as the Clare Project needs flexibility and the hours for this type of work will fluctuate. Sessional workers usually receive their hours for the month in advance.
These sessional group/activity workers will support the charity to facilitate its psychosocial support groups and other group activities. There will be additional training opportunities for these sessional workers to provide individual psychosocial support.

With support from NHS Sussex, the Clare Project is introducing a new role in order to support the development of its Trans Health Public Involvement Programme.
Working jointly as part of the NHS Sussex’s Public Involvement team and hosted by the charity, this role will be working closely with TNBI communities in Sussex and, according to the Clare Project, is essential in ensuring the views, experiences and suggestions of the TNBI community are sought, heard and acted upon.
The post holder will also lead on developing and facilitating both a Lived Experience Community Group and a TNBI Professionals Group.
