Gender Identity Research and Education Society commissioned to create online resource to support trans and gender diverse people with autism

The Gender Identity Research and Education Society (GIRES) has been commissioned by NHS England to create an online resource directory to provide information to support trans and gender diverse people with autism and professionals who support them.

The online survey asks for responses from trans and gender diverse people – including non-binary, who are autistic, with or without a formal diagnosis. The survey is for people who are 18+ and who live in England or Wales and runs till July 26. There will be a chance to win a £25 Amazon voucher for everyone who completes the survey. Click here to access the survey.

GIRES is running five online recorded focus groups, for the same groups of people, for people to say what they want included in the directory and to point out any gaps in current service provision. Everyone who attends a focus group will receive a £15 Amazon voucher to thank them for their time. You can access their Eventbrite page to book a place on one of the focus groups.
