The Boiler Room Sauna in Hove is holding a party for Trans*people tonight, Friday, May 22 starting at 11.30pm and finishing at 3am.
A unique social evening is promised, offering a safe and relaxing environment to meet, chat have a glass of wine and use the facilites of the Boiler Room Sauna which include a steam room, spa, cafe and intimate rooms.
Privacy is guaranteed and there is plenty of parking outside once Tescos have closed at 11pm.
Adam Bailey, owner of the Boiler Room, said: “We noticed that there isn’t anything dedicated to Trans* people in Brighton and Hove, somewhere to go and feel safe. Somewhere where people can play, relax, chat and have a drink. So we decided to fill the gap. As this night builds, we aim to keep it running as a regular event. We have always allowed people to dress in trans clothing in the sauna during standard opening hours, although, in order to comply with our ‘towel only’ clothing policy, only underwear and/or stockings can be worn at these times. On the T-Girls evening, you can stay fully dressed, head to heels, while the men wear just towels”.
