Terrence Higgins Trust (THT), the largest sexual health charity in Europe will host a hustings called “HIV in Brighton” in the lead up to the general election on May 7.
THE Hustings will bring together candidates from the three Parliamentary constituencies of Brighton & Hove to answer your questions about how they will address issues related to HIV across Brighton & Hove if they are elected.
The event will be a Question Time style debate, with questions related to HIV in Brighton and the UK from the audience that all candidates will be invited to answer. From prevention to treatment, from PIP and DLA to employment, from housing to education, the organiser are looking for candidates to answer any questions that affect or interest you and answer how they will address them in Brighton and nationally if they are elected as your MP.
The candidates confirmed to attend at the moment are:
Paul Chandler – Liberal Democrat candidate for Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven
Peter Kyle – Labour candidate for Hove & Portslade
Simon Kirby – Conservative candidate and sitting MP for Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven
The Hustings will be held on Tuesday, April 14, from 10am to 11am, in the THT office at 61 Ship Street, Brighton.
