Take Action. Lace Up: World AIDS Day RED RUN to take place on Saturday, November 26

Graham Robson November 7, 2022

Since 2009, East London’s HIV charity Positive East has organised the World AIDS Day RED RUN on the last weekend of November (just before World AIDS Day on December 1).

What began 13 years ago, with just 50 people running a 10K, is now a large community event to support essential HIV charities across the UK.

Enjoyed by thousands, the event is a simple, flat and joyful chip-timed 10km or 5km fun run or 5km walk through leafy Victoria Park, East London. Anchoring the route itself is the RED RUN Village with music, drag superstars, refreshments and more.

Team THT

Sexual health / HIV charity Terrence Higgins Trust say: “The World AIDS Day RED RUN is a celebration, an acknowledgement of work still to be done and an opportunity for each of us to remember those whose fight against HIV ended too soon. By joining this year, you can help be there for people impacted by HIV today, tomorrow and into the future.”
