Three photogenic pussies from Sussex have all taken starring roles in Cats Protection’s ‘Cats Calendar 2020’.
Jazzie from Hailsham, Garibaldi from Newhaven and Cocoa from Tangmere, each won a place in the UK’s largest feline welfare charity’s 2020 calendar, which showcases cats adopted through their countrywide network of adoption centres and volunteer-run branches.
Tortoiseshell and white Jazzie features as Ms February, black and white Garibaldi stars as Mr May while brown and white Cocoa takes the role of Mr December.
“When we took Jazzie home, she walked in, had a quick run around the house and settled at the top of the stairs and went to sleep. This is still her favourite place, she’s a social cat and likes to be close to us. She likes to jump on our beds and dribbles endlessly when stroked. She has turned into such a beautiful and loving cat, we feel very lucky to have found her”
“They fit in with us so well at home, Garibaldi is so chilled out and always wants cuddles. There hasn’t been a day that goes by without the two of them making us laugh and spreading so much joy to us and our family.”
“I adore their markings. They are home-loving, quietly vocal, use their paws to communicate and are never very far away from wherever I am. As I’m a chocoholic the cats and I have a lot in common and their beautiful brown coloured coats are regularly complimented.”
The calendar, which costs £5, is available to buy from Eastbourne Adoption Centre on Marshfoot Lane in Hailsham, the National Cat Adoption Centre in Chelwood Gate, the charity’s nationwide chain of retail shops, as well as online here
The calendar helps raise much-needed funds for all the cats and kittens in the charity’s care who are looking for new homes.
