Jill Nalder, the newest patron of the Sussex Beacon, which provides specialist care and support for people living with HIV, will be joining her fellow cast members from TV series It’s A Sin on Sunday for the BAFTAs with the hit series receiving an incredible 11 BAFTA nominations. This includes Olly Alexander in the Leading Actor category and Lydia West, who played Jill, in the Leading Actress category.
It’s A Sin has helped educate and engage the nation in discussion about the challenges faced by people living with HIV. It reportedly helped create a spike in HIV testing and generated greater awareness of preventive medication and effective treatments available for people living with HIV.
