Local HIV charity the Sussex Beacon has announced it has been awarded over £370,000 for three years from the National Lottery Community Fund towards the charity’s Community Services. The funding will allow the Sussex Beacon to enhance this vital department at a time when it is desperately needed.
Hattie Yannaghas, the Sussex Beacon’s Community Services Manager, said: “This is such fantastic news for our Community Services at the Sussex Beacon. To be able to offer stability for our community services, to be able to focus on delivering a specialist, person centred service for all those who need to access it across Sussex, is a privilege.
“The need has been growing over the last year and this will help support all the work we do at the Sussex Beacon.
“I am very proud to be part of these services.”
