Trans Can Sport (TCS), which provides safe and friendly fitness and leisure activities for trans communities in Brighton & Hove, has announced a series of activities and online workshops to keep you going through lockdown and beyond!
Sessions are open to all levels of skill and fitness, but you must be aged 18 or over. Trans participants will be offered spaces first, with remaining spaces being offered to allies attending with a trans participant closer to the date.
These sessions are only available to individuals who live in the UK due to restrictions to Public Liability Insurance. All sessions are free but if you’re able to make a donation, TCS suggest £5. To book a session, email transcansport@gmail.com
Trans Can HIIT (online) with Marquita
You will be lead you through this 30-minute full body HIIT, showing you how to workout at home in a super fun and accessible way. HIIT is High Intensity Interval training – to perform exercises with little rest before moving to the next exercise

Trans Can Core (online) with Liz
Liz will guide you through 20+ exercises in a 30-minute circuit session focusing on your core and abs with some gentle stretching to complete the workout.
Bring something to lie on like a yoga mat or towel, don’t forget some hydration and wear some comfortable workout clothes.

Trans Can Meditate (online) with Josetta
Mindfulness is all about being aware of what is happening, in the moment, without judgement and is a wonderful form of meditation, with a focus on compassion and kindness. In this session, you will try out some Mindfulness meditation techniques to learn how to be in the present moment.
