The Running Bee Foundation, which aims to improve health and wellbeing and tackle the challenge of childhood obesity, has launched a limited-edition Rainbow Laces running T-shirt, with all profits donated to Pride Sports, which runs the Football v Homophobia campaign.
The T-shirt will go on sale on Wednesday, December 9 for Rainbow Laces Day, which is when members of the LGBTQ+ community, and allies, come together and celebrate the positive impact sport has had on the community and vice-versa.
The Running Bee Foundation Chair of Trustees, Carl Austin-Behan OBE DL, who chose Pride Sports as the charity to benefit from the initiative, said: “The amazing thing about sport and exercise is that it has the power to unite many people across all different backgrounds and walks of life. There are so many sporting activities available, that everybody can get involved and The Foundation is thrilled to see so many people take part in Running Bee events each and every year. The Running Bee is a space for everyone.”
