Sign up now for the Big Pride Beach Clean, which takes place on Sunday, August 4.
Get your best rainbow gear and (sustainable) glitter on for the best beach clean of the year, delivered by Brighton & Hove City Council’s Tidy Up Team, and sponsored by Brighton & Hove Pride.
Brighton & Hove Pride say: “Whilst Pride don’t manage or organise events on the beach, we feel we all have a responsibility to keep our city clean, not just on Pride weekend but all year round.
“Our beaches are our city’s crowning glory and we are proud to have partnered with Brighton & Hove City Council Tidy Up Team to deliver the Big Pride Beach Clean.”
Volunteers who complete a full session can get a free ticket to FABULOSO on Sunday, 4 August. All tools and equipment will be provided by CityClean staff but take your own gear if you wish. While those aged 18 or over should book places, litterpickers and hi-viz vests can be provided for children. Any places booked for anyone under 18 must be done by a parent or guardian who will attend with them on the session.
There are three sessions – 7am, 8am and 9am.
