LOVE IS THE MESSAGE: DJs including Wildblood and Queenie to raise funds for Brighton Rainbow Fund during Brighton & Hove Pride

Graham Robson July 23, 2024

Love is the Message this Brighton & Hove Pride according to DJs Tim Walker (LITM) and Wildblood and Queenie, who will be spinning a loved up set at Bison Beach Bar during Brighton & Hove Pride for the Brighton Rainbow Fund and MAP on Pride Saturday, August 3.

Wildblood and Queenie say: “Yes, there’s a reason it’s called a beach bar. There’s a reason it’s the place to disco. When it comes to seaside rooftop dancing this Brighton Pride nobody parties like Bison Beach Bar parties!

“So join Love Is The Message for some Moulton moments as we bring the salty sassy sunshine to your Brighton & Hove Pride Saturday evening with a soundtrack of joyous hands in the air Pride session of disco, house and, erm, more disco. Just how it should be at Pride. Dancing with our LGBTQ+ family and allies. See you at the front.”

The Brighton Rainbow Fund is the central hub for fundraising within the Brighton & Hove LGBTQ+ communities, and distributes grants to local projects which benefit, and make a difference, to the lives of hundreds of individuals within those communities.

The Brighton Rainbow Fund has several grants programmes to help groups and organisations make a real difference to the lives of the local LGBTQ+ and HIV communities. A panel of independent advisors considers each application carefully.

MAP works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. They provide immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.
