Doncaster Youth Council is “excited” to present a new booklet, the Doncaster Young Persons Guide to Pride, which launched at Doncaster Pride in August this year.
This resource has been developed by the Youth Council LGBTQ+ reps, Youth Council Members and other young people who identify as LGBTQ+ in Doncaster. The aim was to create a resource that covers topics and questions all in one place.
A youth council representative said “This guide is more than just a leaflet it’s a reflection of who we are and makes us feel safe to be who we are.
“It’s designed to help young people navigate their journey with confidence and pride whether that’s exploring their identity, finding support, or ‘simply knowing we are not alone’.”
