THE project has been selected by Crowdfunder as part of their Projects That Matter campaign.

Crowdfunder will donate £1000 to the project, if Switchboard are able to match this with their own funding.
Switchboard’s Older LGBTQ Project now need to raise £1,000 by May 31 in order to receive this money.
There is a real need for this project – older LGBTQ people report high levels of loneliness and lack of social and community engagement. One of the most important parts of the project is building community and breaking isolation by bringing people together at three monthly drop-ins, and linking people to befriending services who we recruit LGBTQ befrienders for.

With continued cuts to core budgets this funding is vital in order for this work to continue.

All they need is 100 people to donate £10 to make this a reality.

By donating you will help Switchboard to break the isolation and loneliness many LGBTQ face, bringing them together to do something fun, relaxing and inspiring.
