National Student Pride (NSP), which returns to in-person events at it’s Festival Weekend this April, wants to acknowledge people, from across the UK, who have made significant dedications to improving their communities.
National Student Pride Awards 2022 categories are curated to praise Individual Activism, LGBT+ Society success stories, as well as Educational Institutions that go above and beyond for their queer students.
This is an inclusive event that aims to centre the work done by and for queer students in the latter stages of their education.
The National Student Pride Awards 2022 are now accepting nominations for the following categories:
- Outstanding LGBT+ Society Award
- LGBT+ Society Event of the Year Award
- LGBT+ Student Role Model of the Year Award
- Fundraiser of the Year Award
- Sustainability Champion of the Year Award
- Activist of the Year Award
- Researching the Rainbow: Undergraduate LGBT+ Thesis of the Year Award
- Researching the Rainbow: Postgraduate LGBT+ Thesis of the Year Award
- LGBT+ Inclusive University of the Year Award
- Pride Youth Network: LGBT+ FE College of the Year Award
- Pride Youth Network: LGBT+ FE College Society of the Year Award
- Special Recognition for Overcoming Adversity Award

Winners of our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Theses of the Year Awards will be invited to speak at NSP’s Researching The Rainbow Panel during the Festival Weekend; the LGBT+ Society of The Year will receive a £500 prize to be utilised on improving their queer community on campus.
