Nominations for this year’s National Diversity Awards are now open. Categories include Positive Role Model Award; Community Organisation Award; Entrepreneur of Excellence Award; Diverse Company Awards Lifetime Achiever Award; Celebrity of the Year Award.
According to organisers, the National Diversity Awards “celebrate the achievements of grass-roots communities that tackle the issues in today’s society, providing them with recognition for their dedication and hard work”.
Founded in 2012, the concept of the National Diversity Awards arose when founder Paul Sesay and his dedicated team identified a need for more positive role models to be actively promoted, with the aim to empower and inspire the wide breadth of diverse communities across the UK.
The organisers say: “Recognising over 1,000 shortlisted nominees, with 148 diversity champions and community groups taking away the National Diversity Awards accolade, the Awards have shone a light on the work of some of the UK’s most inspirational diversity champions.
” The 2023 ceremony will continue to recognise unsung heroes, community organisations that are doing phenomenal work to enhance the lives of millions from the breadth of Great Britain.”
