Manchester Pride has announced a new venue for an evening of exquisite food and drink and dazzling performances as tables go on sale for the sixth annual spring fundraiser.
The gala dinner will take place on Thursday 28th May at Principal Manchester, and will once again bring together sponsors, business leaders, individual supporters, community champions and celebrities to celebrate LGBT+ life and raise money for the charity.
This year’s event will transport guests to the Roaring 20’s. The decade of The Prohibition, jazz, voting rights for women and luxurious parties. Manchester Pride will bring the roaring twenties back to life with its own Great Gatsby style party.
Entertainment for the Manchester Pride Spring Benefit 2020 will come from singer, songwriter and rapper, Fleur East. Fleur rose to fame in 2014, becoming the first X-Factor contestant to hit number one on the UK iTunes Store chart during the show with her performance of ‘Uptown Funk’.
Mark Fletcher, chief executive for Manchester Pride, said; “The Spring Benefit is always a night to remember and we have some excellent entertainment lined up to perform in one of the city’s most stylish hotels as we get ready for an evening themed around the roaring twenties.
“As an integral part of our fundraising calendar The Spring Benefit welcomes members of the LGBT+ business community, supporters, ambassadors and allies who want to enjoy a really good night out and help us raise money for essential LGBT+ causes at the same time.”
There are a limited number of tickets available for the event and individual tickets can be purchased for £99, which includes a drinks reception, a three-course dinner and a night of fabulous entertainment.
