This year marks LGBT Switchboard’s 45th anniversary, but it has also been one of their most challenging years yet.
In the spirit of the season of giving, the charity for LGBTQ+ people looking for community, support or information. is asking individuals and businesses for their support in keeping Switchboard Switched On by entering their festive raffle, which will help us to raise vital funds so they can continue to support the most vulnerable and isolated in our LGBTQ+ communities.
In addition to making a real difference to the work they do with LGBTQ+ communities, the more tickets you buy, the better your chances of winning. Prizes include hotel stays, luxury food hampers, restaurant meals and more.
The winners will be drawn at Switchboard’s Virtual Festive Soiree on Thursday, December 17, and everyone who enters the raffle will receive an invitation.As well as sharing the raffle with their teams, Switchboard is also asking businesses with money left over from their Christmas Party budget to consider a donation. The charity is happy to provide impact updates to all businesses who donate, as well as complementary training to significant donors. Switchboard say: “Throughout the pandemic we have seen demand for our services grow, and our work is needed now more than ever. On top of this, our biggest fundraising opportunity of the year, Brighton & Hove Pride, was not able to happen in the same way. This has had a huge impact on our finances as we are reliant on our fundraising income in order to provide our services.”
