Ian McKellen and Pet Shop Boys feature in Stonewall’s ‘Silent Auction’

Stonewall’s Silent Auction is now open for bidding.

STONEWALL, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans equality charity has launched its annual Silent Auction, featuring fantastic prizes from Sir Ian McKellen, Pet Shop Boys, Clare Balding and Martina Navratilova.

The Silent Auction – which supports Stonewall’s ongoing work to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people – is now live at www.stonewall.org.uk/silentauction and is open to bids from everyone.

Lots on offer include a one of a kind signed self-portrait drawn by Ian McKellen (with thanks to Gay Star News), an original 7” Pet Shop Boys single signed by Dusty Springfield and the boys themselves, meet and greet tickets to The Clare Balding Show and signed tennis gear from sporting legend Martina Navratilova.

Bidders can also win afternoon tea at The Royal Horseguards Hotel with Dragon’s Den’s Deborah Meaden, an evening of wine tasting with Paris Lees and the opportunity to win meet and greet tickets to Alan Carr’s Chattyman TV show.

Silent auction bidders also have the chance to spend a day with the penguins at London Zoo or win a lifetime supply of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

All money raised from the silent auction will support Stonewall’s ongoing work to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people – so please dig deep, and take home a fabulous prize while you’re at it!”

Stonewall’s Silent Auction closes for online bids at midday on Friday, March 27, and reopens that evening for guests at the Equality Dinner.
