As part of a recent workshop at the Sussex Beacon, a number of the charity’s Day Service users created placards for the first #ZeroHIVStigmaDay in Brighton on Friday, July 21. Members of the Beacon team (Administration, Community Services, Facilities, Fundraising and IPU) couldn’t resist a photo opportunity to show them off in our glorious garden!
The Sussex Beacon say: “We’re very proud to support the event, which takes place in Brighton’s Jubilee Square from 11am through, with music and speakers from 5pm.
“Many of us from the Beacon will be there, with our Peer Mentor and Living Well Co-ordinator attending during the day to chat with visitors about HIV and HIV stigma.
“Our Service Operations Manager and IPU Manager will be helping out on the the Martin Fisher Foundation Bus, so please do come along and say hello.”
