Drag queen Snow White Trash is to run the Brighton Marathon 2025 – Sunday, April 6 – in memory of Miss Jason, the trailblazing drag icon and community champion who died in April 2024.
Ed Parry (Snow White Trash), who will run the marathon in drag, said: “I have officially gone insane and entered the Brighton Marathon 2025! I shall be running the marathon IN DRAG (in trainers lol) in memory of Miss Jason and to raise money for the Sussex Beacon. “Once I’ve finished the marathon I’ll then be doing a charity Bonkers Musical Bingo at the Bedford Tavern straight afterwards to raise some more money! I might need some help from my other bingo girls on that one.
“Miss Jason was a huge inspiration to so many people and throughout her incredible life she did a massive amount of fundraising for our community. I hope I can in turn raise money for the Sussex Beacon, a charity that was near and dear to her heart and that she was a patron of.”
