Sussex-based LGBTQ+ youth charity, Allsorts Youth Project, has launched a brand-new fundraising campaign to mark the start of Pride Month.
Across Sussex With Pride sets the target of 148 miles to be completed over the course of three months while fundraising towards the charity’s LGBTQ+ youth and family services, now available in seven towns and cities across Sussex and online.
The 148-mile challenge can be completed by any means, whether that be walking, cycling, skating or swimming, and does not have to follow any specific track. So, whether you’re a keen cyclist looking for a challenge, or a weekend walker looking for an excuse to get out with your friends more regularly, Across Sussex With Pride is the perfect opportunity to do so whilst raising much-needed funds for a good cause.
Alongside close supporters of the project, Allsorts’ own Comms & Fundraising Manager, Effie, will be taking part in the campaign, and says: “For me, it’s a great opportunity to get out and about, exercise a bit more and really dust of the winter cobwebs whilst shouting about the amazing work of our frontline team at Allsorts, and hopefully raising some funds in the process.”
