CrawleyLGBT, which raises awareness of the LGBTQ+ community in the town, has announced it has been been specially selected to benefit from the Co-op’s Local Community Fund, which means if you choose CrawleyLGBT on your loyalty membership, you donate to their cause simply by shopping.
CrawleyLGBT say: “We are made up of Crawley’s LGBTQ+ community and we were formed to arrange and host the town’s first Pride event in 2020. With Covid-19 presenting multiple challenges, we turned our focus to becoming an official Community Interest Company (CIC).
“Since the success of our CIC status, Co-op stores in Crawley have supported CrawleyLGBT by selecting us as one of their chosen causes. We are thrilled and honoured.”
