The Brighton and Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum is hosting LGBT Hustings ahead of this year’s elections in May.
THIS will be your chance to find out more about your candidates, why they are running and what they will do for you and the LGBT community if they are elected.
It is your chance to question the candidates on their records, why they should be re-elected, why you should vote for them and importantly, what positions they have taken since the last elections on issues affecting the LGBT community here in Brighton and Hove, nationally and internationally.
The hustings for the national Westminster elections will be held at the Queens Hotel, 1-3 King’s Rd, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 1NS, on Monday, April 13 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Simon Kirby, the sitting Conservative MP for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven, Caroline Lucas, the sitting Green MP for Brighton Pavilion, Peter Kyle, the Labour parliamentary candidate for Hove and Portslade and Paul Chandler, the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven have all confirmed their attendance.
