Revealing St James’s Street to launch at Ironworks Studios on Sunday, November 3 with award-winning drag prince Alfie Ordinary

Graham Robson October 11, 2024

Marlborough Productions is to launch Revealing St James’s Street at Ironworks Studios in Brighton on Sunday, November 3 with award-winning drag prince Alfie Ordinary on hosting duties.

Revealing St James Street is a project that embarks on a mission to collect and preserve the memories of the thriving queer community that has historically congregated in and around St James’ Street.

The project will gather the voices and stories of performers, workers and regulars of the cherished bars and businesses of our community, and produce the first ever LGBTQ+ walking tour of the area. The stories will be brought to life by the real voices and memoirs of the community that has made it a historic and iconic hub for queer life.

The launch event will be an afternoon of entertainment, reminiscing, storytelling, and sharing. And an opportunity to hear about the project and how to be involved. Expect glitz and glamour, snacks, drinks, special guests, speakers, exclusive gossip and trips down memory lane, and a touch of drag!

Organisers say: “Feel free to bring pictures, videos but most importantly your memories to share.”
