Graham Robson November 28, 2024

Queens Arms Brighton will be closed on World AIDS Day on Sunday, December 1, as it joins forces with Charles Street Tap to raise funds for THT South.

In a statement on social media, Rupert Ellick, co-owner of Queens Arms, said: “Myself and Andy at the Queens Arms have decided to stand with Charles Street Tap, GM Chris Marshall and Drag With No Name – and try and bring part of OUR scene together, in one venue, to raise as much as we possibly can for THT South.”

The star-studded fundraiser on Sunday, December 1 from 7pm will feature raffles, fundraising and fabulous performances from the cream of the cabaret crop, including: Alfie Ordinary, Drag With No Name, Baga Chipz, plus special guests Rose Garden, Dave Lynn and Sally Vate.

Rupert added: “Any customers that were going to come to the Queens Arms I strongly encourage you to come and join us at Charles Street Tap for this year’s World AIDS Day event.

“Hopefully we will see you all at Charles Street Tap straight after the Vigil on the New Steine – for a wonderful, fun and uplifting evening.”
