Brighton Half Marathon 2025, a fundraising event to raise funds for Sussex Beacon services, seeks volunteers for this year’s event, which is taking place on Sunday, March 2 at a new location on Hove Lawns.
BHM say: “As a charity-owned event, we wouldn’t be able to go ahead without the incredible support of volunteers who really do create the atmosphere and ensure the whole event remains firmly rooted in the community.”
Depending on the role, the majority of volunteer start times are between 7am – 9am, with the latest time that you will finish being 2.30pm (some roles finish earlier). All volunteers will be provided with a breakfast bag, and BHM caters for all dietary requirements. There are several roles that you could be assigned to:
- Course Marshal
- Youth Race
- Water Station
- Start/Finish Area
- Baggage
Unlike previous years, the youth race will take place the day before (Saturday, March 1). If you are available and interested in volunteering on the youth race, mention it on the form. The youth race will only require 4-5 hours of volunteering from 12pm on the March 1 and food will be provided during your time on site.
