According to the LGBTQ+ youth charity, this time of year can be incredibly isolating for LGBTQ+ young people. They may have to spend time with family members they aren’t out to, they may have to cope with homo/bi/transphobia at home, or they may just feel particularly lonely and disconnected from their usual support networks.
Allsorts say: “That’s why we need to make sure Allsorts young people know they are loved and accepted for exactly who they are.
“By being part of our 12 days of Allsorts campaign, you have the opportunity to write a message of support to Allsorts young people, alongside a £12 donation. These messages will then be collated and shared digitally with young people so they know they are not alone this festive season. All funds raised will go towards continuing our vital work supporting LGBTQ+ young people across Sussex.”
