Bristol Pride has announced that Canadian singer-songwriter and Grammy Award nominee Carly Rae Jepsen is to headline the LGBTQ+ charity’s Pride Day celebration event on Saturday, July 9.
The multi-million selling, number 1 artist, who will perform hits from her extensive back-catalogue, joins an already glittering line-up which includes: Alexandra Burke, RuPaul’s Drag Race Canada winner Priyanka, Bright Light Bright Light and Scissor Sisters‘ Ana Matronic who headlines the Official After Party.
Pride Day takes place after a two-year absence at The Downs. The event will feature multiple stages and attracts some of the biggest names in live music and entertainment, plus showcasing new and emerging talent including performances from local artists and community groups.
Pride Day will also see a welcome return of the Pride Big Top, Youth Area, Family Zone and Community Area.

Pride Day supporter wristbands, available priced from £7, come with various benefits including discounts at on-site bars and food traders, plus free bus travel on Pride Day with First Bus as well as a dedicated shuttle service running from the end of the parade route to The Downs.
