Join Brighton Queer History Club in the Museum Lab in Brighton Museum & Art Gallery on Sunday, October 30 for a journey into the rich history of LGBTQ+ culture of Brighton Dome since it became a concert hall in 1867.
From pageants, fundraisers and meetings, to gigs, dance and theatre, you will hear from a range of local speakers who each have something to share about this vibrant heritage. There will also be a chance for you to share your memories of your experiences of LGBTQ+ at Brighton Dome. Refreshments will be provided.
The event is co-presented by Queer Heritage South, a project of Marlborough Productions, and supported by Royal Pavilion and Museums.
Tickets are free but booking necessary as places are limited.
