Brighton Natural Health Centre (BNHC) – the charity founded by Infinity Foods, which has been promoting health and wellbeing in the city for 40 years – has launched a GoFundMe campaign and will host a free Open Day with classes on Saturday, September 3.
Alongside its regular classes, BNHC has been running free and accessible low-cost classes for many years, including free classes for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers and trauma-informed yoga for identifying women – “a truly beautiful class, really safe, inclusive and accessible”. BNHC is currently working on several outreach projects, for example partnering with a loneliness charity to help with movement and connection for those who are isolated, and offering tailored yoga and breathing practices to those suffering from long Covid.
Much of BNHC’s charity work has been supported by commercial classes, yet these have not fully recovered from successive lockdowns. To continue its work, BNHC has launched a GoFundMe campaign, and is hosting an Open Day with free classes and refreshments on Saturday, September 3 from 5.30pm.
Brighton Natural Health Centre is located at 27 Regent Street, Brighton BN1 1UL.
